Tata Sierra EV Interior Teased Ahead of Launch: Boost Mode, Terrain Modes & expected 500+ km Range

Tata Motors has released multiple teaser videos of the upcoming Tata Sierra EV across its social media platforms. The latest teaser offers the first detailed look at the Tata Sierra EV interior while also highlighting its off-road capabilities. In the video, the Tata Sierra EV is seen climbing the iconic Tal Moreeb dune in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating its performance on challenging terrain. The teaser also reveals new drive features such as Boost Mode and Terrain Modes, hinting at a more capable and feature-rich electric SUV.

The new Tata Sierra EV retains the retro-inspired exterior design of the Sierra showcased earlier, while introducing several EV-specific technologies and premium features. Since this is an all-electric SUV, it replaces the conventional petrol or diesel engine with a battery pack. Tata Motors has not yet disclosed the battery capacity or technical specifications.

Tata Sierra EV interior Terrain Modes and Boost Mode

One of the biggest highlights of the Tata Sierra EV is the introduction of Boost Mode and multiple Terrain Modes. These drive modes are designed to optimize the SUV’s performance across different road and off-road conditions. While Tata Motors has not yet shared detailed technical information, the teaser confirms that the Sierra EV will offer dedicated driving modes to enhance traction, power delivery, and overall driving confidence on challenging terrain.

Tata Sierra EV Expected to Offer Over 500 km Driving Range

The latest Tata Sierra EV teaser also provides a glimpse of the SUV’s digital instrument cluster, revealing some interesting details. The display shows 80% battery charge with an estimated 424 km of remaining driving range. Based on this reading, the Sierra EV could potentially deliver more than 500 km of range on a full charge, making it one of Tata Motors’ longest-range electric SUVs.

While this estimate looks promising, Tata Motors has not yet announced the official battery capacity or ARAI-certified driving range. The figures shown in the teaser should therefore be treated as an early indication rather than the final specification.

Another highlight is the energy flow display on the instrument cluster, which illustrates power distribution between the front and rear motors. This strongly suggests that the showcased model features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup, offering improved traction and better performance across different driving conditions.

Tata Sierra EV Design Details

The latest teaser also offers a closer look at the production-ready design of the Tata Sierra EV. One noticeable change is the use of gloss black body cladding, replacing the grey finish seen on some earlier prototypes. This gives the electric SUV a more premium and sporty appearance.

Although Tata Motors has already confirmed that the Sierra EV will be available with a dual-motor AWD configuration, this teaser marks the first real-world demonstration of its off-road capabilities. The technology is expected to be closely related to the system used in the Harrier EV, giving the Sierra EV the ability to handle both city roads and challenging terrains with confidence.
